Which Brake Disk and Pad for Q45?

Wes has them and likes them, but for normal street driving, not worth the effort for most. I do like the stillen Brembo drilled rotors a lot though.

Solid rotors from name brand, no cryo-treated or galvanized or such crap. This baby NEEDS to get hot and not crack. Use Bendix best ceramic pads for outstanding performance (F/F and G/G temp ratings F/R) and Valvoline synthetic DOT 4+ B/F.MOST important details--clean and lube caliper pins and pad sliding surfaces AND carefully torque lug bolts.

300ZX brakes are really only worth it if you dont want your 15s to fit without spacers... the only advantage is the selection of brake pads and rotors.

For 95% of Q people, hawk pads and new rotors on stock Q brakes is all you'll ever need.

The Z rotors weight the same +- 0.5 pound depending on brand as the Q45 rotors even though they are 2mm thicker [just more air space].
