Just picked up a autometer cobalt mechanical water temp and just curious if there is anywhere it will actually screw into or fit in because im not a big fan of tapping into my hoses....

There is an adaptor for the fan temp sensor located on the lower rad. hose. Find one at a salvage yard and splice that into the upper rad. hose. The included adaptor (should be a blue insert that came with the gauge) will thread into this sensor hole.Don't know if that made any sense. Just eyeball your lower radiator hose and the hardware that came with the gauge and you should be able to figure it out.

You can also put the sensor where the bleeder plug is on the upper rad hose. You might have to re-tap it to fit the threads of the sensor. Thats usually what a lot of people do.
