Glad you got in touch with him but half a year for some powder coating is still way too long. He didn't need the internet to finish the parts, could have had them ready i cant believe they are still not done. He should have had more time without the internet to be doing things like that. Good luck though hope you get them soon

Ok, so today is the 2nd, he should have internet right? Anyone know an email address besides his [email protected] or [email protected]?

My valve covers have been paid for and finished since April and i was told in July they were shipped. I even told him not to worry about a timing cover, that i would pay the price he was charging for valve covers and timing cover for just the valve covers!

I would REALLY like to get my parts.

ok so here is the update:ALL PARTS ARE DONE.pics.ok so the bad news. Yes the calipers are darker than the rest of the parts, and yes there was another issue with the blue sticking to the back of the valve cover. I don't care at this point, i told him to just ship the parts and i will just hit the spot with some high heat blue. it's at the rear and won't be seen.

he never actually said. if you read the aim he never really gives a reason except his internet was out. i was really trying to be cool about the whole thing, because he does have my money and my parts and he's pretty far away.

Sucks about the back of the valve cover, but it does look pretty sweet all in all.

Too bad it took an eternity.

ok well my parts should be shipped on Tuesday. my only concern is that he said he will still powder coat valve covers but not other items on a chat on aim the other day. i think a mod needs to look into weather or not he should still be an approved powder coater. there never really was an explanation as to what took so long. i'm not trying to be spiteful here i just want others to avoid what i have been through.

So does he have an alternate email address now? My valve covers have been done since APRIL, and he told me the last week of JUNE they shipped, and i havent heard from him since!

I dont use AIM at all, but i have emailed him yet again at both his Yahoo account and his GMail account. I was told 2 months ago the valve covers shipped and i cannot get ahold of him. If anyone has a working email address for him, please let me know.

Thanks,Jason

Did he still charge you full price for something that took half a year, came out off colored, and not even completely finished?

WOW. This is turning into a huge mess.

I can't believe you're taking it this well. I would have already been out there to personally kick his a** and get my parts and money back. No excuse for taking this long and being so difficult to reach.

yeah i used paypal. but i smoothed out all the casting marks from the valve cover, i really want it back. besides it's not gonna make it back onto the road this summer anyhow. but at this point i should file for my money back. that should get his attention.
