Where is the ECU on a CA18DET

Like it says above, on a S13 silvia were is the ECU located, also do you check codes in the similar way you check codes on a R32?

its on the lower kick panel on the left side

Is it like an R32 ECU that "blinks" out the code in flashes?cheers

exactly the same. If you read the FAQ at the top of this forum, it talks about how to perform this test. I don't see any reason why it would be any different from an R32 though. There is also a link up there to download the FSM in english from.
