I have my truck manual currently being shipped to me, still learning ins and outs of this truck.

91 Nissan D21 - 4cyl - 2.4L

Where is the fuel pump located? A diagram would really help. Also, is there a safe way of testing the fuel pump from home to see if it is pumping fuel or not? Ive got the new filter, but truck still won't turn over fully.

Towncivilian thank you for your posted diagrams, they are helping me alot.

Here is a 1990 FSM which should be very close to your 1991 D21: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/hardbody/d21_truck_1990.pdf (right click -> save as, since it's a rather large 112MB file) The fuel pump is in the tank. see page 538 of the linked PDF file.

Try cranking a few times and feeling the fuel filter inlet hose, if it's firm the fuel pump is likely working.
