Behind the thermostat housing, there's an air regulator. One side hooks up to the intake somewhere I think. Also, the side that the air comes from, it comes from a metal pipe behind the intake. Where is that air supplied from?

Ive looked in the FSM for the last 2 hours but cant seem to find anything, nor can I locate any pics.

Thanks.

Heres some pics for u, i brightened them out alot to make it eaiser to see where the hoses connect. this one goes to the top facing port of the air regulator

this one goes to the bottom facing port of the air regulator

Now, before I had it hooked up from the 1st circled place >to> air regulator >to> 2nd circled pipe. Car ran perfect for a month or 2, then it just refused to idle.

After much research, discussions with rafi and looking over the CA18der fsm, I teed that second line that comes off the bottom of the Air Regulator into a pipe I had welded onto my cold pipe. Result = perfect idle all the time.

Hope this helps.

cold start gizmo. as it heats up from the 12V ign on source it closes a valve (has wax in it that heats up to do the job).

it just raises idle for cold starts basically.
