Does Nissan even carry parts anymore?

Things like distrubutor, hoses, gaskets, etc.

Or is there a better source?

I tend to shop at rockauto if I plan on buying multiple items, but your local parts store should have you covered. I have a 73 620 and buy parts I need with no problem.
