Some new mods on the bike that i've been meaning to post up:

New rear fender (mud on your back is lamesauce)

Also added a SKS mud-x shield on the downtube, but guess I forgot a pic of it.

Topeak mini 3-LED light. Got it on clearence and wanted something really small... this definately fits that bill, haven't seen anything smaller. Pretty darn bright too!

And some self-cleaning wax Ceflon chain/deraileur lube for maintainence. This stuff is badass. Little particles of wax with dirt on it fall off leaving clean wax lube, pretty awesome if you ask me, lol.

Yeah, definately a noticeable improvement after treatment of that wax. I haven't gotten it really dirty yet, so we'll see what time shows with it.

Just bought a 2008 Cannondale F7 Disc today at the local bike shop. I've been shopping around for a ~$500 hardtail and this one was too cheap to pass up.

Just got back from messing around my neighborhood. MAN I'm out of shape!

DMoreau, looks like you're at Beech Spring park. I live all of 10 minutes from there, but I'm afraid to go until I get in better shape and more comfortable on the bike. Any other decent places around here to ride?

Haha I got the same exact bike. Been using it as a daily commuter and went on the trails twice so far. Both times I been on the trails after riding for a couple of hours the shock gets frozen stiff. Just wondering if its just my bike or it needs to be broken in more...

Alright, Michele and I are looking to get more active and are looking into mountain bikes. I am 6'4", she is 5'4". Neither of us are overweight. Just looking to hit some mountainy trails and such. Nothing too crazy. Any suggestions?

Also have lots of gear, helmets, pads etc for both bikes, problem with liking both grades of MTB you have to have a different set for each thing.

Currently thinking about adding to the stable again, wouldn't mind a Specialized dirt jumper... hmmm !

My fiance and I actually ride quite a bit.

Threre are quite a few trails out here in So Cal within a couple of minutes driving, and now that I'm done building the bikes I'm looking forward to building a 240 :chuckle:
