So I recently acquired a 91' TT 5 speed, but when I got it from my friend it had a cracked driver side t top. he said he doesn't know where on earth to get replacement glass, but I do have the t top frame and the lever works to remove it. I'm hesitant because If ii end up ordering a used one cause then it took me hella money just to get it, and my driver key wouldn't fit In the used t top so I'd have to use two keys to open both ehich would get annoying. Any ideas guys? I really want to fef this show on the road. Thanks

That really didn't help me. Let me ask a slightly different question, I found a good condition t top on craigslist but don't know how I'd get it open if they take separate keys. Can the lock cylinder be changed out in the t top assembly I buy and matched to my key or a different key?

Didn't help? Seriously?

So is your second post what you really wanted to know? Ok, I'll bite. I'd call a locksmith.

No I apologize that website is a great resource for OEM hard-to-find parts. I just need to locate a used t top the whole piece hopefully from a black car like mine then swap out lock cylinders from my broken t top to the used one I buy. And I'm seeing them on ebay for under $100 so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Thanks for the help :)
