I don't know about other Nissans but on S13's it's on a vin plate on the passenger side of the firewall.

its about where the egr hose is . a few inches towards passenger side. its on the actual engine. flashlight is your friend. and mirror.



its on the back of engine. on the driver side. about four inches down from top of engine.
