yeah, you can. some coupes can handle it, but not all coupes. not mine.

ya definitely past 5k sounds sweet and now some drift team has a chopped top g35 coupe with the titan motor and a vortech supercharger strapped to it. anyways i think it would be much easier to swap in a chevy ls v8 than anything else though. Hinsonsupercars.com already has done it, has a package deal for all the stuff you'll need to set it up as well with engine and transmission mounts, drive shaft, headers, oil pan, and computer controler to make sure all of the gauges respond the way that they should. Don't ever get me wrong. I love nissans and toyotas but a coupe like the g35 with a v8 - C'mon, and especially now since the price of oil has dropped from $140 a barrel down to $117. Soon i'll post up some pics of my car and what i've done to it.
my ride : '05 g35 coupe - ss clutch and brake lines, hawk pads, 3in nismo cai, headers to 2.5in resonated downpipes to a 2.5in into a 3in ypipe, eibach sways and sportline springs, kinetix rear combo suspension kit, stillen master cylinder brace and torque damper, radiator shroud, clear corners lights, dual mini train horn ( that is soo much fun i can't begin to tell you, lmao), nismo radiator and oil cap, computer reflash, spec stage1 clutch kit plus flywheel, bm short shifter, nismo shift knob. (more on the way)
I don't want to touch my engine anymore until it blows and then i'll decide what i'll do about the swap. Other than that i want to finish up the suspension with some coilovers with controller, finish the exhaust system with the rear section (right now it has the stock rear muffler but connected to the rest of my upgrades actually sounds decent). Plus i want to add an entertainments system with a tv and subs.
What I have ordered and on the way: oil catch can, aluminum radiator with samco hoses, rear bypass cooler kit, universal fuel kit with regulator that will make it a return style. I would love to get 3.9 gears and a 1.5 diff...wishful thinking....
