Secondly... Just to clarify. Aren't we talking about a 18" front and 19" rear? That's not staggering. Staggering is running a wider rear wheel/tire than front wheel/tire. There seems to be a little confusion in this thread concerning what is being discussd.
18" front and 19" rear doesn;t have anything to do with understeer or oversteer.
I run a 9" front wheel wth a 275/35/18 and a 20" rear wheel with a 305/35/18 I have no understeer. My car is dead neutral at the limits.
not too many people run a 18x9 fornt with a 19x9 out rear, if the diameter is different you cn abet the width is as well, bit it's really more about sidewall so yes the diammeter comes into play as well
and yes you can find over and understeer on the road in real life in responce to your imputs under severe conditions
and the balance of your car will change due to driver imputs, neutral under acceleration, is nto neutral under braking
and I am willing to wager you do nto have 275/35/18's on 20" wheels
