need help. I want to put on some after market wheels and how found the ones I like but need some info from guys with aftermarket wheels. I am going to a 15 inch wheel and want 7-8 inch wide one. I need the offset and back spacing to keep the tire under the fenders. I hate it when I see wheels hanging out on 2wd hardbodies. I figure 7 inch is only one inch wider than stock chrome wheels and with proper back spacing and offset i can keep the tires under the fenders. I run the 14x6 chrome nissan wheels with 225 70 14 tires now. I want to go to 15 x 7 so i can keep a 225 -245 tire width but I do not want them sticking out. the rims I have picked are Ultra 5051 aluminum they have 6 lug 15x7 to fit nissan. I amd just needing the back spacing and offset on anyones wheels that stay under fenders. Thanks for any help.

On a 7" rim, you'll want at least 4.75" of backspace to keep it contained. When you say 235-245 rubber, what aspect ratio do you have in mind? 70-75s will probably rub up front. Something in the 50-60 range may work.

yeah I did one plus wheel sizing and I have 215 70 14 and will go to 235 65 15 to keep over all size almost same so speedo and gearing remain okay. Thanks for the back spacing I really want the new rims and needed to be sure they tuck in. Black truck with wheels outside the fenders means dirt on it all the time LOL
