Hey obviously are cars are going to get pretty much whatever their average is per tank depending on how you drive, but just for fun, what is the MOST you've ever gotten your "Range/Miles to Empty" to read?

This is mine right after a fill up coming back from eastern long island. and i was going about 70 the whole way.

I remember getting around 470 or so after a fill up, but I really haven't been looking recently. All cars will obviously get worse with this as it ages. HP goes down, MPG goes down, etc...

lol mine usually says around 330 in the winter time which is only like 50F and right now since its summer it usually says 370 after a fill up. i dont really pay attention to it until the end when it says like 30 miles left. i just add that to the odometer and if its about 400 im good to go.

Yea our cars get pretty good gas mileage considering they aren't ugly as sin. (the two seem to normally go hand in hand)

One time my mom got pissed at me for using a styrofoam cup instead of a glass one because it was bad for the environment. i said 'mom my car gets almost twice what yours does on a tank' (she has the g37x).

.... then she challenged me to a drag race...... jk

Dang, 599! That's the most I've heard of. The highest I've got was around 530 miles, but that was when I first got it. Now after having it for almost a year and putting some aftermarket parts on, after filling up it usually says about 470. Currently averaging 25.4 mpg.

Mine is normally around 400. yes I have a 2.5. Part of it is I do mostly city driving and to get to my house the one road is really steep and probably like a mile long. So driving up that really kills my fuel economy.

~600 km outta a tank

The initial mileage is virtually useless information. Reason : It takes in consideration range based on previous mileage; so if you drove freeway before ...

oh yea its totally useless... i know. but its still fun to look at. within about 10 minutes of local driving i was down to like 450. HMMM either the car recalibrated based on local driving OR i pulled a "Mothman Prophecies" and drove several hundred miles without realizing it. come to think of it i did find myself at a motel in the middle of ohio.....

I got a 2.5 A/C, I drive locally allot of stop and go. My usually reads 355 when I fill up, but I actually get about 410 miles out of the tank, and I stil have 2-3 gallons left when I fill up, even though the computer reads --- till empty. 799...damn...thats so awesome!

The first time I ever put premium into my 2.5 I managed to get about 635kms (~400kms) at the half tank mark...that was mostly doing sensible highway driving with about 90kms of city driving at the beginning of the trip. I should've checked my range meter that day...
