48mm offset? That's higher than the stock 45mm, so your wheels will be tucked inside just a little bit more than stock. If possible, try and find something between 35mm and 45mm for the best looking stance. 48mm should work though...

Found a good deal that I couldn't resist..but it will not cause any problem though, right? I will be running 245/45/18 with these..

The rims he is looking at are 1 inch wider than the stock 16x7's. Assuming the same offset, this will make his wheels approximately 13mm wider on each side. Taking into account the 48mm offset and the wheels will be pushed out 10mm further than stock.

Hey guys,

To get to the point. My car IS dropped and I got some new rims: 19*8.5 with a +45 offset. What tires should I be running for it not to rub?

I am looking into getting some new wheels and I was curious about fitament issues of them.

I have an Eibach Pro Kit drop and the Rays G Games I want are:19x9.5 all around with a +40 offset. I would use a 245/40 tire with them

Would these set up work fine?

Yes, you might get a TINY inner front fender roll but thats ok. There is like a 1cm inner fender lip that will get flattened but that's impossible to notice

this will happen naturally after riding on the wheels or I have to get this done before putting them on?

Going to test fit some 20x8.5 +35 tomorrow. I already know I'm going to either have to go with a lower offset or wider rim with slightly higher offset.

Put 245/35/20s on it and you should be fine.

Ya, I know. Thanks. But it's such a weak width and eh offset. I would much rather go 9's

LongBeachCoupe wrote:Ok guys i get a decent amount of emails asking me basic fitment questions on what wheel sizes will fit our Altimas.

First, the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 (some places may call it 5x114, dont get nervous)

Lug Nut size is 12 x 1.25 (make sure to pick up a thin wall socket)

Something that is very important is staying close to the stock diameter of the entire tire/wheel combination.

Check this site out. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Once you find the wheel you like, use that to find the right tire size.

3.5 Stock Information 17x7.5 26.3" Diameter +45 offset ---> 215 / 55/ 17. This means, the tire is 215mm wide, the side wall is 55% of the width of the tire (215 x .55 = 11.825cm) ... 11.825cm / 2.54cm per inch = 4.655 inches for each side wall. 4.655 x 2 (two sidewalls)= 9.31 inches + 17 inches (size of wheel) is 26.31 inches. (incase you wanted the math)

So for a 20" rim, you could get a 225, 235, 245, or 255 cm wide tire, however, note that when you go wider with the tire, the smaller the sidewall is gonna be in order to fit close to factory specs. And the smaller the sidewall, the more uncomfortable the ride will be.

For 20" rims, here are some possible tires to stay close to factory specs

225/30/20 = 25.31225/35/20 = 26.2225/40/20 = 27.08

235/30/20 = 25.55235/35/20 = 26.47235/40/20 = 27.4

245/30/20 = 25.78245/35/20 = 26.75245/40/20 = 27.71

The ones in bold are the closest to factory specs. You can do the same equation above for 18 and 19" rims

Some specs on 19s19x8:225/40/19 = 26.1"235/40/19 = 26.4"

19x8.5:235/40/19 = 26.4"

And some on 18s18x8 on 235/45/18 will get you to EXACT factory specs (26.3") but 225/45/18 (26.0") is damn close enough and tires are a lot cheaper.

This info is for the 08 Altima Coupe and is a work in progress... Chime in with your fitment/offset/drop

ALL Stock Infiniti G wheels will fit.

Ovrbst had NO RUBS with a staggered 19x9x5 fronts and 19x10.5 rear setup (no drop, that would cause issues)

I will be "sweeping up" the thread to make it very easy to understand.

I'm looking at Enkei's J10 wheels in 18 inches. Says they have a 38mm offset. What tire size would be best? America's tire recommends 225/45/18 or 245/45/18. If I decide to drop it later on, will I have any rubbing issues with either? Which will give the more "low profile" look. Thanks!

- I want to do an Eibach drop. 19x8 5Zigen Hyper 5zr wheels, 235/40/19 tires.

Offset options are as follows - 45, 38, 33, 25, or 23mm

Which offset would be optimal for putting the wheels just shy of flush with the fender? I want ZERO rubbing so I'm trying to do all my hw. Thanks!
on my 08' im running 19x8.5 +35 axis mods with a 245/35 on cut eibachs i have absolutly no rubbing. i will be switching to some ArkDesign R8's 8.5+30 very soon....

so if you buying 8"s then you could run a +25 or +23 and theyd be flush.

I'm getting some 18x8 wheels and considering the following;

245/40-18, it says 3.86 section height / 9.65 width$159/wheel @ Discount Tire

245/45-18, it says 4.34 section height / 9.65 width$171/wheel @ Discount Tire

Should I go with the more expensive option considering the tire might last longer and I'd like to have more rubber... I was afraid to do that because I have EiBachs and thought it might rub? Unsure here.

I need a little input on what size tires to go with to best fit my rims. I'm going with a set of 18" ADR Phantoms. The have a width of 7.5 and an offset of 42. Any suggestion on proper tire size and should i opt for hub centric rings as well or?

Got another question lol

19x9.5 +38 offset rims

255/35-19 tires

The Wheelmaster calculator says it's 0.1" closer to suspension/brakes, wheelwells 100% clear , speedometer 1.2% slower

Lookin for feedback from either opinion or experience. Thanks

Hi, I am wondering if you can assist me with wheel set up?I have 2009 altima sedan base model. I understand most factory offset is +38.

I am wondering if the 18x8.5 offset +30 and tire set up is 235/35-18.The Package will stick out 18 mm (0.7'') farther. I haven't seen altima with +30offset but that why I asked you if you think that is very possible to do this.I am wondering how many mm will clear front and rear if the fender is rolland pull a decent flare?

Thanks..
