How will an 18x7.5 with a 45 offset fit? or would 38 be better?

How about a staggered set...

18x8 front with 40 offset
18x9.5 rear with 40 offset

will it work?

There is a lot of good info in this thread, just people need to wiki the way tire sizing works.

My girl has a 2008 2.5L coupe with the stock 16" x 8" +45 offset rims wrapped in 215/60/16 rubber. I found a deal on some now rare WORK MEISTER S2R. :ohno:

The fronts are 18" x 8" +35 offset, wrapped in 225/40/18 Nitto Neo Gen's
The rears are 18" x 9" +35 offset, wrapped in 245/40/18 Nitto Neo Gen's

The diameter of the stock rim with tire is 26.1". The diameter of the front Work rim with tire is 25.1" which is 4.1% shorter (Nothing a set of 245/40/18 can't fix when its time for new tires). The diameter of the rear Work rim with tire is 25.7, which is 1.7% shorter. I'm putty sure the car is going to need a drop after the rims go on. Since my G35 is down this might have open the door for the mod bug on my girl's car.

Hi all, new to this club/forum...I was looking for answers to my questions, I couldn't find them...so I answed myself through trial and error. Hopefully I can help someone else who has the same questions that I did.
1. 19" Rays from G35 Coupe DO fit on the Altima
2. There ARE Nissan Center Wheel Caps that will fit the middle of these rims (40342-AU510) and they look AWESOME when they are on (Hoping to post pix soon.)
3. The Altezza Chrome LED tail lights look way better on a dark car than the black Altezza LED (imo)

I am using 245/45/19. They fill the wheel well without looking tacky!

Will 18x9 with a offset of +30 fit a Coupe? And what tires would fit without rubbing on these rims. I was previously looking at 19x8.5 with a +38 offset and 19x10 with a +42 offset but Im now more interested in the +30 offset wheels but dont know if they will rub or not. Thanks for any info!

i'm looking at a set of 3pc Racing Harts, 19x8 +50 offset that has 235/35/19 tires. will it rub considering i'll be running on an eibach drop shortly?

You should be good. I would definitely start thinking about spacers to flush the edges out.

so the wheels i have are 18x8 +42 offset, and i have 245/35/20 tires. What mm spacer should i buy to get close to flush without rubbing, accounting for my eibach drop? I know absolutely nothing about spacers, and studded or anything like that :gotme

Try this. It wont tell you if it will sit flush but it you know the measurement of how far your stock rims were then you could know how far your new rim will sit.
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
Im guessing you could run at least a +15 spacer or even a +20 for the rear and sit right around flush. My rims are 18x9 +30 front and back and mine are flush exactly.
Make sure you buy something that has some pretty good reviews. Alot of spacers they sell are junk. You want something that already had the studs built in and something that is adaptable to run with hubcentric rings.
Try something like this. They are a little more expensive than some brands but plenty of people use them and Ive never heard of anything negative.
http://www.optionimports.com/itemMatrix ... trixType=1
And the same company that makes these makes the custom fit hubcentric spacers depending on the size spacer you choose to run. Id recommend also getting these.

I would test fit them first, just to get an idea of where they will sit and how far I would want them to move out. But like DZ said 15 mm spacers for the front are a good place to start. Then the rears will depend on what you're looking for. If you stick with your current suspension setup, you could go larger in the rear to increase the flushability (again like DZ said). Remove the rear's negative camber and you'll probably want the same size spacers to avoid rubbing.

I think most would not recommend getting spacers with the built-in studs. I would want a spacer kit that contains the spacer and longer studs. Its a much more secure connection vs. 5 lugs holding on a spacer that has 5 lugs holding on a wheel. I am not saying these are not safe, but I would shy away from them when better options are available.

Hey guys. I understand everything in terms of offset and how flush something will be to the fender. MY main problem for my particular ideal setup is rubbing which I believe has to do with tire height primarily and my coilover setting. I'm trying to run 19x8.5 +30 front and 19x8.5+ 25 Rear. I will be rolling my rear fenders. I want very little to no wheel gap. I'm considering 235/35/19 or 225/35/19.

Can someone point me in the correct direction in terms of figuring out exactly what tire sizes I should get in terms of measuring?
Image

According to that, I will have about an inch MORE to play with in diameter. Should I measure the distance between my current ride height on the coilover to the lowest ride height on the coilover and then factor that into my sidewall height / diameter? If I find the difference between current height and slammed then I could add that to my current wheel diameter of 26.3. If the number is less than my future wheel diameter of 25.2 (which it is) then I won't rub correct? Or am I thinking of hitting my fender as opposed to rubbing inside my wheel well?

Sorry if my post was confusing, I can try to clear it up if anyone doesn't understand. I'm trying to look at this from a common sense / mathematical perspective but I don't think it's working.

Soo Im a really big fan of staggered sets but I do understand the slight differences in handling when it comes to a FWD. My question is how would using different offsets work with keeping the same width all around instead of having bigger rim widths in the Rear. The setup im contemplating is
20x9 +35 Front
20x9 +15 Rear
245/35/20
Coupe Would these specs have issues? I'd really appreciate some feedback

Will be really stretched but should fit. I'm running 255/35-19 on my 9.5's (not fond of stretching)

Thanks for your response. I'm more relieved now. I'm picking the wheels up on Saturday and dropping it

I am getting 19 x 8.5 +32 wheels for the front and am lowered on BC coils. I know these will fit as it is only +3 lower than my current set up. But i want to purchase 10mm spacers making them 19x8.5 +22. And the tire size is 225/40/19. Will these fit?

I recently installed a set of Moda MD14s on the AC. with Sumitomo HTR A/S P101 235/50/17`s, They look fantastic on the car, and the tires handle very well. Totally satisfied... :dblthumb:

How flush will some XXR 522s in 19x8.5 +15 be? I'll be lowered with TEIN S-TECH springs when I get these, so maybe try and factor that in? I'd like a pretty flush wheel/tire setup, but nothing with too much poke. I'll probably get a slightly stretched tire on these as well, so could anybody give some suggestions on a good tire to throw on these bad boys?

Thanks!

Hey guys , this question is for those that know about wheels & fitment very well. So I have my 4th gen sedan on eibach currently running 18x8.5. Now I want to run 18x10.5 all around. Would it be possible to run that size? Do I have to roll the fenders? And what size tire would be best to run on that size

I'd Roll the fenders in front and rear. As far as tire size, I would play it safe and go with a big stretch since you'll be the first one to run 10.5 all around. The rears you can probably run (depending on the offsets) because you can add neg camber. The max neg camber you can go in the front is probably about -1.7 based on personal experience (assuming you have camber plates on coils). So idk how the front will look. You're stepping into unknown territory so you'll have to do a lot of experimenting and testing. I'd test fit a friend's 10.5's. Good luck!

Hey all,

I'm planning on getting these Lorenzo WL27s Image

I will be dropping my ride, although I haven't done that yet. I'm planning on having the springs installed with the wheels simultaneously.

Wheels are 19" x 8" | 5x114.3 bolt pattern | choice between 40 and 32mm offsets. Which one should I go with?

Tires, I'm looking at 225/40/19s, they're half the price of the 235s.

Anyone see any issues? What offset do y'all recommend 32 or 40 on this setup?

Thanks

Thanks man. I got a steal on them and they should arrive late next week. Hopefully they got all the right sizes and the right model I asked for (the wheel above has two siblings in different schemes). I'll post pics when they come in. Hopefully they look as good as they do in that pic.

Does anyone see any problems with installed a set of 2012 Maxima 18's on my wife's 07 Altima SLE?? I currently have a set of OEM 18's from a 06 Maxima now but 2 are bent and need to replace. Will there be any rub issue with a 8" rim?? Any info will be great..
Thanks
