Greetings, Nissan people of the internet! I just paid $1 for a 09 Nissan Versa from a family member who hit her fair share of objects with her ownership of the car. She didn't hit anything too hard, but it needs some help using a Magic Eraser, a heat gun, some touch up paint, zip ties and a suction cup.

Anyway I saw the car has some 185 size tires on from factory which are just too small to be safe. I want to put some wider Nissan wheels and tires on but I am not familiar on what sizes Nissan uses. Does anyone know that are the widest wheels and tires you can put on the Versa? I was thinking of using some wheels from the Nissan Sentra with a 205/55/R16 tire but will they fit? The tire circumference is about 1% larger than the factory tire.

Thanks for all the help

Hi Nickco43 welcome to NICO Club!

I like this tire and wheel calculator. It allows you to take some measurements of your current suspension and wheel well to plug into it. That let's you see the clearance issues when you start changing things like width, offset or diameter. Check it out! With as much space as there is in the Versa Wheel well, I suspect you have lots of room for more rubber on the outside. I'd just try to keep it away from the suspension on the inside.

As far as using other car wheels, like from a Sentra, you just want to make sure you have the matching bolt pattern and bore diameter. Not all 4 lug wheels are the same.
