You have to remember, it's not just a performance thing, it's also a safety thing. There is a reason the 350 comes with "Z" rated tires.
they are not that cheap (750 for 4), and I know a few people who love them and recommended them to me. If I could afford potenza's, trust me, I would buy them. But the ventus have a good rating, and they are performance tires as well. I am running bald potenzas that didnt even pass inspection right now, anything is better for the time being. When I get the money ill buy some potenzas again, promise

I don't own a Z (yet). But, to put the cart in front of the horse I plan on running Protenza RE-01R I had them on my Audi and they were great. I'd love to see them on a car that is actually performance minded. You just have to be willing to spend $800 on tires every 10,000 miles.

And totally unrelated, do you think when the 370Z is released the used prices on 350s will go down?

I've been running the Falken 452's as well. They are decent in the rain, and pretty good in the dry. Overall, for the price, they've got pretty good grip, and still have a good tread wear rating. I would recommend them as a tire to try for someone though.

its only a rumor, which im pretty sure i first read on this site, but the price of 350z's will actually go up when the 370z comes out. Apparently, people like the 350 better and it will become a collectible type? Don't ask me, i dont understand, but thats what ive heard a couple times.
