What The Hell Happened!!!!

I went to the 240 drift day thing at Irwindale on the 22nd, and there were no 240's, no drifting, no cones, no NOTHING! What the heck! I went with my friend and we were all ready, videocamera, drinks, sandwiches, but nothing was there. What happened? Did anyone else go and find nothing? Did I miss anything? All I found was a Summit Drag Racing competition, which is in my opinion, the exact opposite of drifting. So just tell me what happpened, because I am very confused. Thanks
