I need new tie rods I think, I get a loud pop and the wheels shift when I fully turn my wheels. Do the aftermarket 300zx tie rod ends work with the G50?

with the s14 coilovers dont you need to do more of a conversion?

Lastly, which route would you recommend i go ?
JIC and Insurance are about your most cost effective options if you want a bolt in coilover setup. even then If you buy them new you're in the 2000-2500. dollar range.

I wanted to have even more options so i did the s14 conversion. I'll be installing coilovers and eventually running a bag over/coil suspension setup.

I cant recommend one over the other. I do know that adjustment capabilities are in my opinion better with the conversion.

What did you do about the front sway bar when you converted to an S14 suspension since it attaches to the strut?

found out I just need to bore out the caliper mounting holes and I am set with the y32 Coils into my Y33. I may be trading the whole set up for UAS though...

Not runnig the sway bar. Thats one of the phase two mods I'll eventually get around to. Car still handles well and although I know it probably doesnt perform as well by virtue of the fact that I removed the factory sway bar, I rarely drive it agressively enough to require the serious sway bar that came from the factory.

Cats are maybe two inches off the ground. Its too low and too long to get nasty in.

If you ever decide to sell the S14 setup, let me know. I'm moving back to Bowling Green soon and want to get this turd lowered so I can put my 19s on it.

Doubtful, I'll be in the 240 and going to the track (Beech Bend) on Saturday. There's a possibility, but a very slim one.

Are they a direct bolt on for the President? If they are I would be willing to bet they would work fine on the US version. IF not, why not just modify the Z32 set up like thejapino.

For the price of an Air Runner kit, you could probably finish the Honda and have some cash left over. We have vendor directory listed above. That should give some assistance to getting you started. Also, be sure to snap some pics and post them up in the members rides forum.

front sway bar isnt needed with a properly set up air/coilver s13 conversion.anyone that tells you otherwise is stupid.

Welcome to NICO and the VIP Forum.

It really depends on what look you want and how you want it to perform. If you want a subtle drop and better handling, get some Espilir Springs. If you want it dumped, get coilovers. And if you want it dumped with the ability to raise, get air. There are a few options, so let us know what you are looking to accomplish.

I guess you could get the JIC's for the 94-96 and just bore out the lower mounting area on your Q to allow for the 25MM bolt that the 94-96 model takes. This would be for the front only. The rear is a direct bolt on.
