tokico illuminas here! for the reliablity and adjustability, they can't be beat, even by the AGX's. DEFINITELY worth the extra cost over OEM replacements such as the blues or GR2's

here's a VERY good comparison between the different types of springs and struts available to us. Credit, obviously, goes to housecor.

I'm running on tein H-techs, and they ride like stock and provide a nice looking, even drop, but there are better handling springs out there and if i could have gone back, I would have either gotten coilovers or H&Rs

I have Tokico Blues, but Illuminas or AGX's aren't available for the 3rd gen. Konis are, but I was too cheap to buy them.

Because I can't edit them into the poll, and I didn't think anyone actually put those on their car, I figured you'd go with the blues instead of Monroe's.

I edited the poll to allow other choices to be added. Also did the same with the spring poll.

illumina's (got the susp kit from custom enterprise; their springs lower it the same as the eibach kit) and if you really want the realistic "go-cart" feel, get the front and rear strut bars and progress rear anti-sway bar.

well, depending on when you got your setup, your suspension all around is probably a lot better than mine. i'm going on almost two years and roughly 70,000 miles on my suspension (200,000 mi on vehicle itself). i am noticing a wear difference as far as it's concerned. luckily enough i can get the tokicos a lot cheaper now that i work at AAP, so when it comes time it won't set me back as bad.

I used to have KYB AGX. They performed well.

Now I have Tein coilovers. They also perform well.

The KYB AGX (on full stiffness) actually felt stiffer than the Teins.

I have the illuminas on my 2001 and the HP's (blues) on my 1998. I feel a HUGE difference between the two. I wish I knew there was such a difference in handling and performance. I think the Illuminas are worth the $100 more.
