More like 3k and some change. Headers are gonna run you at least 6 bills for some decent ones like dc/gtspec/borla. Hfc's around another 4-5 bills for aam/berk. Tax, intallation/labor, and parts will run you close to 3k.

You can save yourself some $$$ if you install Hfc's, and exhaust and have them install the headers. It took me about 45 mins. to install a cat-back system. The hardest part was removing the hangers from the rubber mounts with a pair of pliers.

Oh man, i stopped by the Z performance shop the other day and asked for a quote on header installation, he said $800.

Richie take that money and find yourself a decent hooker for an hour or two.

Richie,

I'm trying to like you, but take this into consideration. You have a very new, very sophisticated VQ35HR under your hood. Unless something magical has happened with the different engine, you will have to pull the engine in order to do the headers.

Are you really confident enough to do that? I've been modding for quite a few years and have a good deal of REAL information about our cars and I still think I'm going to send my Clutch/Flywheel to SpecialtyZ to get installed because of the amount of labor and possibility of screwing things up.

Are headers really going to gain you much? Everybody I've talked to told me to just skip them.
