Came with a Stillen exhaust and intake, otherwise it's stock. Owned since 2012.

I have '93 n/a 300zx. I picked the car up a few years back and have slowly patched and cobbled it back together. No serious work just a few sensors, vac hoses and the differential.

Anyways, I recently ran into a boxed set of Eibach springs and picked them up for $100. The reason for my impulse buy was because the previous owner chopped the oe springs on my car to "lower" it.

So seeing that I have a brand new set of springs, I was wondering: What what shocks should I pair them with. Should I get get oe spec replacements or something aftermarket?

Some important details are that this car is my daily driver and that springs are .8" lower than the stock ones. Any advice would be helpful :)

KYB are very popular. I have the adjustable AGX series and like them a lot. Softest setting is close to stock comfort level, highest is pretty stiff ride. Tokicos are also good, I hear.

Don't expect the eibachs to lower the car much. With the age of the stock sagging springs plus the cut, possibly be sitting higher with the new eibachs installed.

When I did mine height was not lowered with the eibachs vs old stock springs, but ride quality was much much improved.

My car defifinetly be sitting higher but I'm also expecting it to smoother. I'm glad that you can confirm that for me too!

I'm curious to hear from anybody with Tokico shocks, especially if paired with the Eibach springs.

But Kyb definitely sounds like a solid option at this point :D
