There's a Filipino restaurant in Vegas my wife and I go to all the time. It's called Pinoy Pinay and OMFG, there food there is awesome.

This is called Kare-Kare. It's made from ox tails and beef tripe (stomach) in a peanut butter sauce. Really good if you don't know what you're eating

yeah, theres a Pinoy Pinay out here in Cerritos. I think the cerritos location is the first, but I remember a couple years ago they were planning on expanding out to vegas (dude.. theres sooo many flips out there, lol)... so thats probably the location you're talking about.

soo its good there eh? dude, I haven't been to Pinoy Pinay in a while, but they made the BEST Halo Halo ever.

stinky tofu

j/k that stuff is f'in disgusting. tastes like a gym sock left in a dumpster for 3 weeks. they say you'll like it if you enjoy smelly cheese... SO wrong.

speaking of smelly cheese, eat some stilton before bed and get funky dreams. ha no joke, the british cheese board did a survey. i think it works on me... maybe just the power of suggestion but either way it's delicious

I used to love me some Cow tongue with salt, and dried red pepper dipping sauce until I watched faces of death which made me unable to stand it anymore

I like baby squid and octopus. It's kinda chewy and the taste is actually kinda mild but I think it's pretty good. But like squirrel, rabbit and deer hearts are really good. Especially squirrel and rabbit, just little bite size bits of goodness. Usually they're boiled in the pot pie we're making.

Some of the hillbillies in the area eat Rocky Mountain Oysters (pickled Bull Testicles) like they're apples. I'm not sure what it tastes like but that's all mental for me...I couldn't bring myself to bite into a bull testicle

I'm right with ya! We make our own Kimchi..i'm 1/2 korean and was born there. I could eat sushi breakfast, lunch, AND dinner every day..no joke. And pho is good as hell too but not many ppl think that's gross.

I also like dried squid, seaweed stew (korean dish), oysters, etc.

[edit] Exotic dishesSome exotic dishes in the Filipino diet are camaro which are field crickets cooked in soy sauce, salt, and vinegar as it is popular in Pampanga; papaitan which is goat or beef innards stew flavored with bile that gives it a bitter (pait) taste; Soup No. 5 (Also spelled as "Soup #5") which is a soup made out of testicles which can be found in restaurants in Ongpin St., Binondo, Manila; asocena or dog meat popular in the Cordillera Administrative Region; and pinikpikan chicken where the chicken has been beaten to death to tenderize the meat and to infuse it with blood. It is then burned in fire to remove its feathers then boiled with salt and pork. [8] [9] The act of beating the chicken in preparation of the dish apparently violates the Philippine Animal Welfare Act 1998.[

pickled eggs.

mainly because a night of those and beer (assuming you don't have a heart attack) result in some of the worst smelling farts on earth.
