Could someone post a picture of what posistion(direction) the CAS shoulding be pointing after setting engine to TDC ,after putting heads back on and installing new chains, guides, etc., . I thought the notch in the little cam(under CAS cover) was supposed to point to 9o clock, but no matter what i do it doesnt come out to that posistion!! I know its wright , set #1 piston to TDC on compression stroke, all timing marks on sprockets(camshaft sprockets and crankshaft sprockets) line up with timing marks on timing chains like they should. I thought maybe camshafts were in the wrong posistion, because they were taken off heads, but they line up like they should( notches in camshafts where head-bolts slide out are in posistion for head bolts to slide straight up&out) so i know thats correct. please show pics of which direction CAS should point. thanks Q45 tech can you please help me!!
