turbo cars usually like the highest octane available. It all depends on your setup as to what you can get by with, but why risk the trouble? I use 93 all the time in all of my performance cars.

Is there that much difference between running 92 and running 94?

92 isn't that much cheaper per litre, but when you're getting at most 300kms a tank, every little bit helps :D

Or could you run 94 in the summer when ambient temps are higher, and 92 when temps are lower is switching a bad idea?

doesnt seem to be much difference between the US 91 and 93, but I always go for as high as I can get.

then again does canada use a different system of calculating octane numbers? I know that is always a challenge for me to figure out.

I definitely never felt any difference between the two...but more input is appreciated.

and Canada uses the same AKI rating system as the US.

As others have said, I didn't see a difference in power between 91 and 93. I even tried resetting the ECU to see if it would add any more timing. IMHO I think the CA was designed around what is 91 octane for us. Anything over that probably isn't going to do anything for you unless you are having some sort of problem with knock.
