Anyone else notice that you have to click back button twice in order to go back, or is it just my work comp getting invaded by internet AIDS?

Ever since the switch pages are taking a long time to load for me. Between 8-30 second per page. Am I the only one?

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

With the exception of last night and this morning (not sure why), it has been much faster for me after the switch. The old ZF forums were so slow that I often ended up with multiple replies that required deletion.

Nope, you aren't the only one. It's pretty slow for me too, unfortunately.
Great work on the conversion though, this is pretty sweet. :bigthumb:

Its actually speeding up as the day goes on. I am only experiencing 5-12 secs per page.

They have been disabled (temporarily I believe) to speed up the site. The RSS feeds are very server-intensive and it was causing NICO to slow down to a crawl.

All of page 7 thus far has been added to the list.

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep in mind, some stuff gets de-prioritized because it depends on another thing to be fixed / tested FIRST, so don't panic if it doesn't happen before something else...

Big job, but we're getting there!

Engineering forum was a low-traffic area and actually wasn't being used for its intended purpose.. As such, the threads are being distributed out into the appropriate forums, topic by topic.

That's your browser. I've been unable to replicate that issue on 4 PC's and 3 browsers.

If it's not listed already, when your forum location gets longer (like " NICOclub Forums ‹ Nissan Forums ‹ 240SX Forums / 180SX Forums / Silvia Forums ‹ 240sx General Discussion ") it overlaps with the ad at the top of the page.

Go into your user control panel and update your DOB. I believe when the switch happened it didn't carry over the day, only month and year.

How about reading the whole thread, especially the part where we're discussing the upcoming revised Search feaure. :)

i noticed in older threads that have pics over a certain size, the right side of the pictures gets cut off along with the text in every post. any way to fix that? here's an example from my resto thread (with enormous text also)- m-tr4nch-s-restoration-build-thread-56k ... 40-40.html

using firefox 3.6 and win xp pro.

here's 2 screenshots in case you can't see what i'm seeing.

edit- the other pages seem to be okay. that isn't the only thread i've seen the pictures getting cut off though.

The things I don't like are (as already mentioned) the colors, especially on the thread list page. Grey and blue just don't flow with each other and I have a hard time finding a certain thread. But that's just me.
The little camera for threads with pictures is missing. When I saw "got new front end" and there was no camera I didn't even bother clicking on it.
Maybe it's been covered before, if so sorry 'bout that, but how do you look for topics created by only one specific user? I can't seem to figure that out.

I'm not bitching about it, I know how much work this must have been. Just some input.
Big thumbs up to the staff!

Sorry if this is a repost, I'm not trying to read through all of this which brings me to another suggestion...

The Advertiser's Marketplace button takes you to the forum main page and not to the advertisers marketplace. I also can't find the old sponsor directory that had the link to their page with a description of what they offer.

As for my suggestion is there any way that you guys can edit the original post to so that it lists all the bugs/glitches pointed out thus far and if they have been fixed or not? We all know that no one is going to read through this whole thing, but they will read the OP if there is a list, cuz people like lists, and honestly some of us don't check this regularly, I don't even read through all the pages of Learned'd that have been posted through the night/day unless it's to find the start of the current conversation.

Yup, getting that a lot too.

The multiquote thing is still VERY annoying... Just enable multiquotes till you all figure out. People will abuse it a small amount while its a novelty, but even that really isn't that annoying considering the alternative is constantly fixing quotes manually.

Multiquote fix is in the works... the modification wasn't released (or completed) yet.

For now, they're enabled.
