I searched and I'm not finding any definite answers, but with the stock injectors and the stock mafs I'm guessing both would max out around 225 ish, correct?I just bought a 300zx mafs at the junkyard and I think I'm going to go with a rom tuned ECU tuned for z32 mafs, but I think I'd like to get 440 injectors too just so I don't run out of fuel. Either from a skyline or an eclipse, doesn't seem like it makes a difference.Anyway if I am running around 200 hp its probably not going to make a difference, but at what power level do these things need upgraded?

15 psi on the stock turbo?mine won't even hold 15 to redline.. hell it starts dropping off at 5800 rpm or so.

Nah, Apexi stopped making them years ago, but they still pop up used on Ebay once in a while.

15 psi was just an example cuz this is where youre about to go beyond the MAf and injectors capabilities

You nailed it on the head man. I know the stock CA T25 won't hold 15psi to redline, but about 180hp at the wheels is the limit of the MAFS and injectors.

Did you mean SR T25, or T28?

I made 178whp as well with stock injectors and maf on 8psi with an SR turbo. I've been running it at 10-12 psi with no noticeable driveability problems, and it feels alot faster then when it was on 8 pounds... are you sure 180whp is the max on stock maf and injectors ryan? I would guesstimate I'm in the 200whp range right now on 12psi with an SR t25g.

I've got eclipse 450 injectors and Z32 mafs now, but nothing to run them with, I'm thinking about an HKS F-con since we happen to have SGP here in houston that is an HKS pro dealer and they can tune them ($200 for an hour of tuning... I guess thats reasonable). So once I get the rest of my **** up and running (srT25, new manifold, intercooler, etc), thats where I'm headed.

my 450's just came back from being cleaned etc, and I got a RB20DET MAF.

now I just need to get off my lazy *** and socket my spare ECU and cook me a rom..

still stock turbo and no boost control, hell I don't even have a boost gauge yet haha

When I was running 220whp my afm maxed at 6000rpm according to my SAFC but there were no driveability issues at all above that. I now have a green sticker RB maf and managed 240whp with stock injectors, fuel pump and intercooler, the injectors are definately too small at this level though so don't try it. I'm running a S15 turbo at 12psi and this afm is at about 90%.

I'm glad I have a boost gauge, everyone says they are ricey and for show, but then when my wastegate line melted and my turbo was running with a closed wastegate, I noticed right away.. without a boost gauge I would have had no clue and eventually, boom...biosehnsucht, I see you are only in DFW, if you are skilled at burning chips perhaps we should meet up sometime, I'd love to have a chip burnt for Z32 and 450cc injectors, but I don't know the first thing about it (even after reading the ROM thread- its like reading latin to me).

you ran a stock fuel pump up to 240 hp???isn't that like saying "gods of detonation, I throw myself on your mercy and pray that I shall not lean out?"

lol

But I'm glad to see that kind of number, thats what I'm hoping to get at once I switch turbines to something slightly larger. Does anyone know what an sr20det redtop turbo will do on a CA with the usual (IC, exhaust, Up injectors and Up mafs) at around 12-13 psi of boost?

Yup risky but I wanted to know what it could make, I had A/F monitoring and a HKS knock monitor too so not so much of the praying.

yeah, I did forget that. how much bigger is the silvia pump then? cause I know people that have taken the stock 240 one to 220 hp on KA-t's as well, but I know its on the ragged edge.
