Hi all Quest owners.

I have recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Quest with 64,000 miles on it.
I'm very interested to see how many miles you have on your vehicle and whether or not you have had any CVT problems. I'm trying to get a good idea of how long these vehicles usually last.

Looking forward to the responses.

CVT died at 119k.
haven't been driving the van much in last two years.
the CVT fiasco spoiled otherwise very enjoyable ownership experience.

I bought my 2012 Quest used at a little over 30000 miles in 2013 and it's been our only vehicle since. Currently have over 80000 miles on it and have drained and replaced CVT twice, the car runs and drives well so far (crossing my fingers).

2011 SL 193K. Been solid except for AC compressor. Fearing however the CVT is beginning it's farewell.

Sorry, I am late to the party. I have a 2008 SE. I bought it with 64K, and it's currently sitting at 215K. It used to be a daily driver and have taken it across state lines many times. As for the engine, I've only replaced bolt-on parts, such as the motor mounts, spark plugs, and just recently the O2 sensors. Yes all 4 of them.

I have a 2021 Quest SV that I purchased new in December 2012. About to turn 160k on it. CVT died on me at 111k, $4,300 replacement.

When the CVT died I did some reading online and only then discovered the years of bad history with these transmissions that Nissan has. Not only that, but the Quest was one model that they didn't bother to extend the warranty coverage on. It's soured me on Nissan as a company, and on CVTs in particular; I'll never own another CVT vehicle, and I'm leaning toward never buying another Nissan after the years of bad faith they showed toward their customers when CVTs started going bad on them.

That said, aside from the CVT, my Quest has been a terrific vehicle with almost no other problems. It's big, roomy, and comfortable, especially for long commutes or road trips, handles well, and the mileage isn't stellar but is acceptable at around 20mpg (I used to get above 21mpg when it was newer).

I'm looking to trade it in now. The replacement CVT has 49k on it, and it seems that CVTs in the Quest generally go bad somewhere between 30k and 60k, so I don't want to push it too much farther. Last thing I need to pay for right now is a second $4,300 CVT replacement.

Sorry to hear about the CVT issues. (Knocking on wood) After replacing my O2 sensors, I am smooth sailing. While my Quest was in hiatus, I bought a 2020 Camry. It provides high MPG, but sacrifices roominess. Well just the other day, I started driving the van more. Even though it's a gas guzzler compared to the Camry, I like to take it on long trips and to the Sam's Club. Also the other day, my wife actually preferred that we take the Quest compared to the Camry. The roominess sells!
