Some A-hole decided that my hubby's new $40k F150 would look better with key marks all up and down both sides.

Can you believe that crap??? Parked in the parking garage at Horseshoe casino and when he went out there yesterday to put our suitcase in the truck he saw it. It is totally sickening. Both passenger doors, driver side doors and part of the bed are going to have to be repainted. I sure hope they can match that silver.

I'm hoping with all my heart that the cameras caught them. Security is looking at the tapes. There is one stationary camera that films the driveway that was behind us and one of those round ones that rotates was about 25 feet from the backend of the truck. We have to hope it was pointed in that direction when they were doing it.

The world has gone to Hell. Come on 12/21/12.

I don't get that mentality at all......
I know what I would like to do with the key if I got hold of them.
Has it just scratched the paint, or have the panels been pushed in with excessive force?

Just scratches. Some of them all the way to the metal, some are probably buffable. All of it just makes me sick.

IF they catch the A-hole, he will be sorry. I guess he is too stupid to realize that casinos have cameras everywhere.

That does make me sick!!! :tisk:

Only time it happened to me was when I graduated HS and we all went to Myrtle to celebrate.
Had a fresh paint job on my 69 Mach1 and some idiot took a key to the pass. side quarter panel.
I saved and paid for the paint job.
Looking back I guess it's a blessing that I didn't catch them.

If it had been my car I would have just laid on the ground and cried. He handled it a lot better than I would.

I have to think idiots who do stuff like that have a personal problem with the owner of the target vehicle. Does your husband have any enemies like a jealous ex? Could it have been a case of mistaken identity? Was he parked too closely to the next car over? Sorry for your frustration, I hope they catch whoever it was.

Don't want to get any flames going here, but we are assuming it was an Alabama fan. David has an LSU plate on the front of his truck and a frame on the back license. There was a big "A" carved in one door. That is EXACTLY why you will never see me put anything like that on my vehicle. I don't want mine to stand out in any way (except it's exceptional beauty :naughty: ).

David was parked just perfect in his spot. We have been married for 30 years. If he has any affairs going on, he has more to fear than a key. ;)

I hope they catch them too. If they are too busy to look through 12 hours of tape, I'll gladly come do it.

Yeah, that explains it. Sports fans can be lunatics sometimes - No offense. Add some free casino drinks and a bad losing streak in the mix and well... you see the result.

Thanks Joe. I just hope they can match the paint. David isn't anal like me but he takes good care of his vehicles and takes pride in them.

Bless his heart. He is renting a car because he is afraid to drive either one of mine. :squint:

It sounds like it was likely a sports rivalry thing. It may also have been simple envy. It's amazing how many people see something nice and get jealous...and would rather destroy what you have than go and get a job, work hard and buy one of their own. It seems like that attitude gets more prevalent all the time.

Nope. Fear of the owner. ;)

I have had Rambo for 16 years and I bet he hasn't driven it 3 times.

Believe it or not, ABRA did a really good job. Passed my inspection. I have noticed a couple of little flaws, but nothing real noticable.

I'm sure Horseshoe didn't even review the tapes. I bet if we had gotten some spray paint and vandalized their parking garage, they would have been able to find us!

Basically, we are out $500 deductable and whatever the rental car cost for 5 days. Next time someone tells me that LSU has bad fans, I'm gonna knock them on their a**!!!!
