what is my best bet?

I am leaving for the air force now while I in I wanna get a 240 89-93, now I was wandeirng how much would I need to approximitly save up be able 2 buy the car and the swap and everthing needed for the swap so I can do this all about the same time

you figure around $3000 for the car. $2700 for a red top SR shipped from Daunt. Plus $1000 for the install. Plus say exhaust of your choice????.

That is a ruff estimate.

You could save on the install and do it yourself or buy a couple of buddies a case of beer to do it for you. Try and find a 240 with a blown engine that the owner is wanting rid of, that you can get for dirt cheap.

Get shipped to Japan and buy an SR for cheap and ship it back for free on a military aircraft.

Note: I am not resposnible for you getting tossed in the brig if you get caught doing anything illegal.

Did you get any money for a signing bonus? I'm curious because I'm going to talk to a recruiter in the next couple days about joining the AF. If you are shipping out, you might want to wait until you are settled somewhere to buy a car. Kinda sucks, if I join, my brand new swap will be sitting on the side of my house under a tarp for a few years.

naw I didnt get a sighning bounus but people keep telling me to ask for one, and I wasent planning on getting it till after basic anyways, and going to japan and getting it cheap, I had actual thought about that,I wanderd if I bought a skyline while stationed in japan could it be shiped back here for free
