Everything on the car SHOULD be covered. I just recently had my driver's side mirror replaced because there was condensation. Remember, when you call the dealer they'll want you to bring it in so they can see first hand of what you're talking about. They'll most likely say "we'll see if it's normal" A standard answer from all dealerships when the vehicle is still under warranty, but as soon as the warranty expires, that same issue is now a problem.

As for those covers, that is a cover for the tow hook. Pop the cover off, screw in the tow hook found in your trunk and and get pulled out. I believe there is only one cover but I could be wrong...

Should have a warranty booklet for this issue, take a glance . Not trying to sound like an @$$..........but it is there for a purpose

*EDIT* should be covered none the less if your car still has the warranty, and the damage was not your fault.
