What does dealer say about seat rattle ?

I have the same passanger seat rattle that others have complained of in the forum. I solve it in a similar way (leaning the seat either foward or back), but whenever someone actually uses the seat they need to put in a position that causes the rattle to reappear.

I did a search but didnt see if anyone has ever complained to the dealer about this and if they were able to fix it to your satisfaction.

they said ...oh we don't know what to do cuz Nissan doesn't have any recall out for it yet. I would ask that you report it to Nissan Consumer Affairs so they get more complaints and hopefully take some action

From my own experience, its from the seatbelt clasp rattling between the door and seat. So the simple solution is to buy a seatbelt button:

Then just put the button up above the seat so the clasp can not fall down. It worked for me. Rattles that seemed to be coming from inside the actual seat were simply the actual clasp...thank goodness

my problem was the track for the seat ..... seat was replaced problem solved . quick and easy way to check if this is your problem push on head rest toward passenger door if everything is tight all is good if you have excessive movement go see dealer !
