Too small? Do you see any problems mouting this up/ getting a downpipe for it? Remember this is only for low psi.

Is that a tru t3? Or just the trim is so? Looks hot though excapt for the actuator. I prefer external wastegates.

too small. I think a T3 Super 60 would be a good choice.

I've heard nothing but good things about IHI turbos and for low boost it should be fine.

it is on the small side, but if your only running low boost then you can't beat it for that price.

that pretty ggod pricewise- spend a few bucks and maybe have it worked a little. Then it would be a great buy- for about 300.

For the love of god, DO NOT BUY THAT THING FOR A KA!!!

1) Do it right the 1st time. If you don't have the budget for the proper turbo, then wait. Why bother with all the time, energy, and $$$ for a poor performing setup.

2) If you saw a compressor map for that thing, you'd be disgusted I'd bet. A compressor that small will have to spin so damn fast to feed a 2.4 liter that it will be out of it's efficiency range at super-low boost, and may be in the surge region.

Guys...I know you want to get it done as cheap as possible, but that's not the way to build a car. Cheap is good, but only if the parts are correct for the application. That is not a good turbo for a KA.

Search for MarkEMark's post on here - He got some little-*** turbo that was mismatched and it drove for s***, wouldn;t hold more than 4psi from 4000 and up, etc...so the $$$ you spend on that thing is wasted when you have to get the proper turbo on there.

Save another $300 and get a Z31 T3 with a rebuild.

Later - Brian

Very nicely said. In the world of cars you can only have two of the three things listed Fast ReliableCheapyou cant have all three
