My BC coilover dilemma is fixed. I have to say BC has great tech help! They asked me to send in a few pictures of the install, everything was good with that. They said my coilovers looked to have too much pre-load according to my pics, I adjusted them down and now it rides almost like the factory suspension with a great lowered look. Just got new tires and now I am looking for some aftermarket wheels.

This is funny to me because I have a 2006 M35 that I've owned for almost 8 years and I have had the same problem...lots of floating through fields and new developments. I never did get around to buying an updated DVD. Are you happy with it? I just picked up a '15 Q70 and will be selling the M35 in the next week or two.

Yep, my maps were from 2011-12, so i figured enough had changed in almost 5 years, that an upgrade was due. I got it for $99 from another NICO member, so it was a no-brainer.

Washed and detailed the car yesterday. Used a new foam gun attachment for my Ryobi 1600 psi power washer that I got on Amazon. Man, that thing shoots out a TON of foam, but it chews through the car soap pretty quick out of the dispenser bottle.

Also used Lane's tire shine (the blue stuff). We'll see how it holds up to regular driving, rain, etc.

Back to the fold apparently. What did I go today? I just took delivery of my Q70L. Previous Infinitis included a G35 coupe and a G37 sedan. I wandered away to the Germans for a while but am glad to be back.

Replaced both parking lights with new LEDs. Passenger side one stopped working - JDM ASTAR bulb lasted 9 months.
Sending it back under warranty... :tisk:

Just installed the Infiniti aftermarket exhaust, made a nice mount for my Valentine One radar concealed display (next to DS A pillar on the dash.) Currently working on installing of a JL Audio 10W0v3 sub with a JL Audio JX 500/1D amplifier.

Had a pretty busy two weekends. Put in the GT – spec strut brace. It was a pain to get it in especially on the driver side. I had to install it all the way down on the brackets and still got some clearance over the engine cover and as far as I can tell there's no rubbing.

Installed all new pads and rotors on all four corners.

While I was at it I also put in some spacers on the rear. Just need to get some for the front now.

Also my LED fog light burned out so I replaced it. While I had the front lights out I also painted the trim around it.

Changed my rear license plate lamps to LED housings to replace one that had a hole cracked through the lens. I also changed out the interior light bulbs and trunk bulbs to red LEDs.

Front strut tower bar looks good. I think it has helped the handling a bit - although that could just be my imagination.
It did take some wrangling to get it on and the only way I could get it to fit too was all the way down on the brackets. I'm not having any rubbing issues either.

BTW, what brand and size spacers are you running for the rear? What do you plan to run in the front?

H&R trak+ 20 mm. Not sure about the fronts, I d like to get 20 mm also, but reading online seems like I could get some rubbing issues. I think I go 15 mm unless I read somewhere that 20 mm worked for someone.
I am on stock springs, so maybe 20 mm will fit....

TOok my new to me m56 for an oil change and new battery. I also ordered some wheel spacers Fromm Procarewheelspacers.com and some new floor mats from the bay.

I was feeling bad for my FX50 so I ordered a shark fin antenna for it as well.

Got Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06s put on all 4 corners - interior rolling noise much better, but of course my old Potenza's were toast 2-3/32!!! so it was like riding on just your rims.... :tisk:

we'll see how they sound on the highway and how they handle in wet and dry conditions

I put on 15 mm spacers up front that I got from garageline. com and it looks like they are a hair to much. I either have to put 25 mm on the back or keep the 20ies and go with 10 mm on the front. Most likely the latter, I like where the rear wheels sit with the 20 mm spacers.

Installed my wheel spacers finally. Went with 15mm front and 20mm rear. I think it is the perfect fit. Both sit near flush now.

Took her on a road trip. Drove from Maryland to myrtle beach. This is my first long road trip since owning her. I must say I'm highly!!!! Impressed with the mileage I got out of my car. Made it down on one tank of gas.

The place we stayed was 425miles away. I got 500 out of the tank before needing to fill up. I drive very conservatively just to see what I could get out of her.

Thank you. Yeah it's a quick, cheap easy mod. I love the sound. The sound has really broken in now, that some time has passed. Sounds really good!

Wife asked, "Have you been working on your car ALL day?"

Yes...Yes, I have been:

1. Installed R2C intakes (theses have been sitting in my office, taking up space for about a year) - I just needed the time to finally get after it...and I wanted the black hex filters instead of the regular white ones
2. Added my oil catch cans (ditto for same reasons above)
3. Changed my serpentine belt (I realized I was staring at it right in front of me with the front air deflector off, and at my last oil change the service adviser brought it up)
