What did you buy for your EX, this week?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

NJ - what kind didja' get?

I wish I had replaced the rotors when I changed my pads to the akebono... I feel a very slight pulse when slowing down and braking very softly, like easing up to a stop light... Very slight, but I seem to feel (and hear) everything that is slightly not normal! (both a blessing and a curse)

Tony - those all sound great. Sorry I didn't see this over the summer.
PPAN - that looks pretty cool!

Yeah, usually I'm more detailed in my posts, but I was feeling a bit lazy today.
-Akebono ProACT pads
-Raybestos Advanced Technology Rotors
Got the pads from Amazon and the rotors from an Amazon seller.

Also picked up a set of those Goodyear Assurance wipers from Costco. $3 each off until 10/26 (limit 2) :) .

OK - I 'indirectly' bought my EX35 a 2003 Accord coupe!

Well, I bought the Accord for my son, who was borrowing my wife's RX, who was borrowing my EX ! Now I get my EX back!

SMART!!!

I bought my EX a carport, not enough room in garage since genesis coupe and vette are in there....

Well, the genesis and EX do swap on nice days...

But since I smoked a STI in the EX... in a totally controlled offroad situation.... hmmm...

Luv it, it's for nice days as a daily driver. Soft summer tires so anything less than 40 degrees its put away. If it's raining, it's put away. It keeps my vette company most of the time in the garage. 13k miles in three years. It was this or a 3 series bmw, little wider than the 3 series coupe (feels more stable, even with the stock wheels/tires) and 10k less (after the wheel/tires change). and not another one every 5 seconds while your driving.

Sadly, they no longer have it. Parabolica Blue. Changes colors based on the lighting, sometimes it looks green in early light, and purple in late light. At night it almost looks black. Has different colored metal flakes in it. Bought it sight unseen. Only like 100 of them in this color in north america. Son told me it was very limited and the last car in a color like this held its value for years.

Bought a seatbelt extender for one of the outboard rear seats; not for oversize passengers, but to make it easier for another passenger to buckle up with with both of the kids' car seats installed.

Also bought the EX a carwash and vacuuming of the interior today.

Bought the Nissan GT-R interior map light covers and all led's to convert the interior. Also got some led's for the rear license plate, but I need to buy some clips/retainers in case I break some removing the rear panel.

Next on my list...a strut brace.

10 pack of lug nuts. Not sure why, but a bunch of them currently on the car don't quite fit in my 21mm socket; makes it tough to torque them to spec.

While I didn't technically 'buy' it, I also got a warranty replacement for one of my HID bulbs.

-New steering rack and alignment.
-Brake pads and rotors for the rear.
-A pair of wrenches to help out with the brake job.
-3 ton low profile jack; the old one has started leaking after 10 years of use.

Just purchased another steering wheel bezel, this one wrapped in real carbon fiber.
Wrapping the first one with the 3M vinyl still looked much better than the original, but after a couple years in the AZ heat, it started to deteriorate a little and cracked in a couple spots. This one that I am getting will last for the life of the vehicle.
I found the guy on Instagram and I am so happy I did. If any of you are on IG, look him up. I also found him on a G37 forum since he is an Infiniti guy. Makes the most incredible steering wheels. If I was a single man, I would have one.

Bought some signal mirrors from Muth. I custom ordered the vertical bar signal because I detest the chevron signal...I don't need my car looking like a Chevy. It was the same cost for the custom order as the standard mirror from their website. I think it turned out well. The pictures aren't that great...sorry.

Are you feeling a little horny?

My horn was a bit weak... For less than $20 shipped and taking less than 30 minutes to splice our one horn wire into two, I have a nice attention grabbing horn that makes me SMILE every single time I use it!
:rotfl

Direct bolt on replacement for the one horn and then there is another spot to attach the 2nd horn on the passenger side of the radiator frame.

Highly recommended~!
