Welcome to NICO!

I think you first need to clarify your question...are you looking for the 2.5 or the 3.5?

Stillen is like your typical deep sound without rattle or droning Borla/nismo is like stillen but louder and less bassyArtisan is like a muscle car v8 but it can drone arround 2K~ 3K rpm. so you might need to add a resonator to itGreddy (Ti-C) is the loudest (bass like) one and the ricyest looking one one lol.

if you want to destroy the neiborhood get the greedy ti-Cif you want to destroy your mind get the artisanif you want to amp the bass get the stillen oneif you want the race car loud get the Borla/nismoif you want people to notice you but not ONLY because of your exhaust get the Tanabe if you want to sound louder but not too bassy get the greddy Spectrum Elite

Now this is the kind of response I was looking for. Simple k-1 english for those who have a hard time deciding which exhaust to go for. I, being one myself, this help clears things off for me. so THANK YOU for this mcheddadi.

They make it for the 3.5, but it will work for the 2.5. The installers just need to cut the pipe about 1-2 inches.

Sounds amazing on a 2.5!!!!!!! Highly recommend

Psi - id say go with the stillen, (thats my pic)

If you do some searching thru past threads, there is a 2.5er who got the artisan exhaust put on and what they had to do.

Stillen is more subdued than the Nismo, though noticeably louder than stock. They both sound great but the Nismo is def louder. I have the Stillen and am quite happy with it. If you want to make more noise, and pay more, then go with the Nismo.

Sorry for thread jack. ESP ! Where did your order your Konig Trouble ? Is it from discounttires ? I've searching for 19" with +40 offset a while now. It's a lil pricy from 1010 tires.

I wanna tackle the sound system this weekend again, but if I have time I might go to Katy on Saturday night. I think lots of H-town AC's on NICO live on the west side.

well you dont list what engine u have but if its a 2.5 your sol there is no way to make a 4 banger sound good you either have to mute the shiznit out of it or they sound like a Honda with a fart can....however if you were smart and got the 3.5 then you have a bunch of great options for sound from raspy to deep n bassy. I cant remember off the top of my head though which company put that hideous 1986 blue hue rim around the end of their exhaust but i wouldn't take a set from them for fre even to put on my car it looks just way too why would you make your beautiful car look like that?

I got them from Stillen a while back. Kyle told me that Konig was discontinuing them, so finding them might be a PITA now. IIRC, when I got mine, there was only one other set of 18*8's in the US available...

@ VonivoNot quite true, mate. The 2.5 sounds just fine with most of the exhausts available on the market right now (with the exception of the Magnaflow...ugh...). It won't sound like a VQ, but it certainly won't sound like a honda with a cheapo fart can. What's with all the polarization between 2.5s and 3.5s? Geez...

BTW, the blue tip exhaust you're talking about is the GReddy TI-C system (which sounds pretty evil on the 2.5)

I run straight pipe. call me stupid or crazy LOL but I dig it. if I ever do decide to pay a ton of cash for an exhaust system I'd go with the Artisan. maybe because to me it's as close to a straight through exhaus as Ive found.

mcheddadi as always has great info.

Tanabe exhausts are engineered thoroughly so that they sound better with NO draw backs. if loud is your thing then forget tanabe. tanabe's exhaust is subtle, but you'll notice it and everyone else will, in the good way, not the obnoxious rice boy car way lol. yeah should sound like the gReddy SE exhaust but a little less loud
