Hi guys,

I've never owned a set of Welds so I have no idea what fits, in fact when I was about to order some I froze when I didn't see 'offset' as an option.

What is everyone running in terms of backspace? I think what I really need is something equal to a +35mm offset with a 10" rim.

I've pumped the guards by 30mm so I have clearance to run a 10.5" tyre. And run the 5 stud pattern

They come in 3.5", 4.5" and 5.5". Not concerned about clearing the brakes, just hitting the strut as Weldstar R/T's have plenty of allowance for big brakes.

Can anyone please help?Cheers,PJ

Pretty certain a 3.5" will be too agressive (think negative offset) and might cause issues with the fender.

I'm guessing you can make both the 4.5" and 5.5" work, but would have to say that the 5.5" is your best bet. I will try to find some notes from when I was determining what I could fit on my S14.

I doubt you would hit the strut with any of these options though (5.5" would come the closest to hitting the strut but should not as it is roughly a 0 offset...remember that advertised wheel width is actually 1" narrower than actual lip to lip so a 10" wheel is actually 11" wide, making the mounting point dead center in this case).

You can run a 6" backspacing on struts in the rear. Coilovers I'm not too sure... I can verify that when I put mine on, lol. My wheels (17x9 +35 with 275's) have a 5.877" backspacing, and there is a good amount of room left over. You may even be able to get a 6.5" backspacing.

15X8 5.5bs is what you need.

Anyone have picures of the 15x8 with the 5.5 or similar wheel setups, plan on ordering wheels this week and want to get a feel for the fitment.

Sorry for the thread revival, but what are you guys running on the front? Backspace for front runners?

Thanks!
