I prefer synthetic, but if the dino 5W-30 is working well for you, excellent! (I would recommend a oil and filter change interval of 3750 miles maximum, and you will be perfectly fine). It is far more important to be regular about the change than to worry about the type of oil!

How is the synthetic engine oil for you? I have a Nissan Fuga 350GT and the 1st engine oil that i put in the car, wasn't 5w-30. Just curious as this is my 1st Nissan i have owned. Thank you.

My name is T.J., and I'm from Toronto. Just bought a 2006 M35x and Picking it up Monday. I'm new to the Nissan/Infiniti world and just wanted to thank everyone for all the info and resources posted on this site. The pics and mods on the site has me even more excited about my car. It's Grey (as listed by the dealer)... I'm assuming that's the Diamond Graphite?

I'll post pics when I get the car next week...
If you incase you don't have the infiniti manual, do let me know and i can send it to you. Just got one a few days ago.

Hello Nico Club,
I have finally taken the time to post an introduction of myself to the forum. I have been registered for quite a while and have been searching in the forum for years. Since this time I have had an 04 G35 coupe (RIP), 06 G35 coupe (may it also RIP) and my new (to me) 06 M35x. I lost both of my coupes in accidents (which were not my fault by the way) I loved them but figured this time around I’ll put my “big boy” pants on and move up to the “big body” status plus it gives me more room for the family. I am looking forward to doing a couple things to this car and hope to hold on to it for a while unlike the demise of my coupes. I would like to lower it (looking for springs btw if anyone can help), tint, rims and tires. I added aux (about 3 weekends ago) and I’m happy how that came out (it could be better thou). When I begin my mod’ing I know I’ll get the bug and want to do more so I would love to get help from the forum. Thanks for the time and here are a couple pics of my cars from past to present! Thanks for your time!

BTW again I am looking for some lowering springs for my 06M35x Please help!!

NICE! Yours looks good. Yours almost looks the same as my mine (color wise). The color actually is called obsidian Grey but it looks anything but grey when it's in the sun. Im looking for M35x lowering springs. So if you know anyone please let me know! Thanks for the comment! Oh btw those pics still hurt to this very day!

A good searching of this forum led me to:

He seems to have springs specifically for our cars. I am not buying right now, but please let us know how you make out if you do. Make sure you get the last numbers into the link - they don't paste right.

Just want to qualify me a bit. New member here, former BMW, Acura, Audi & Jeep owner, and long time certified Mercury/Mercruiser and Borg-Warner Velvet Drive, Paragon Marine Gear mechanic in earlier life. So I have a lot of experience with engines and gears, and a bit less with BRAKES :chuckle:

Yes, I do. Only have a few sets left and then they are gone for good... Japan wants me to order 30 sets before they would do another run, and that's too many.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum, but excited that I found it. I am a proud owner of a 2003 base M45. I've owned it for a few years now. I love the power and the handsome lines. It is my most favorite car out of almost 30 cars I've owned over the past 20 years.

I want to post a picture but I don't know how. I am looking to personalize my M45 finally. It is completely stock, not even tinted windows. I want to tint the windows, lower it about 1.5 - 2 inches, get a subtle spoiler, have the original wheels repaired and chromed. Lastly, i want to get more sound out of the exhaust. I would love to hear some suggestions. Thanks for any and all help.

New to the site. Bought my M35 back in December of 2014 completely stock. Since then I put on eibach pro kit, niche 20x8.5 wheels with 35mm offset, Megan dual mufflers with burnt tips, and fx35 dvd headrests. And as soon as I figure out how to post a picture I will.

I am new to the family but here is my new (used) baby, 2009 Infiniti M45X. Found this for a great price and it is loaded. 1300 spent already for tires, tps, alignment, and whatever else the mechanic found. I have a slightly bent rim and will get it taken care of in a week or so. Rides like a champ and a total sleeper. I am pretty much a purist when it comes to cars and really will only dabble in the sound system audio/bluetooth, professionally detailed, possible driver seat leather replacement with an OEM from ebay or something.

oh yeah, I had to order:
1. Floor Mats (OEM Wheat) with the logos
2. Another smart key fob serialized specifically for the model
3. The first aid kit for the trunk.....oh yeah I did say I was a purist :)

I was really wanting to tint this car until I finally saw it and I am good with what it has.

This car was packaged with the Advanced Technology Package and has everything except a kitchen sink....or as my daughter say a fridge.

Hi there

Just thought I would drop by and introduce myself. I'm the proud new owner of an Ivory Pearl 2007 Nissan Fuga 450GT (without the Bose Audio) which is a bummer. I got this car as it was a touch more luxury and low key than my previous car (Heavily Modified 1990 Skyline R32 with an RB25DET Neo). However, coming from Christchurch New Zealand, the home of Kelford Cams, I have big plans for the Fuga.

As soon as I have the funds, I am planning to take the engine into Kelford Cams and let them work their magic, hopefully developing some 272 degree cams for this bad boy, and a setup to run it all (hopefully then I will be able to offer this setup to the wider community). I will also broach the subject with them surrounding what would need to be done with the internals to turbocharge the car (may turn out to be too much of a mission). Then finally, will look into a suitable aftermarket ECU to run all the computerised components in the car with my modifications (also lucky to have the head office of Link ECU in Christchurch).

I also have plans to do a manual transmission conversion with a v35 skyline 6 speed manual gearbox. I have done conversions before with Skylines, but it will be interesting to see how it will play out with the Fuga. I can foresee some interesting issues ahead, which I will document in full on the forum for others to enjoy.

Have included some photos of the Fuga below and look forward to being part of the Infiniti M/Nissan Fuga community!

Cheers

I'm planning only minor upgrades to mine, but can appreciate a nicely modified vehicle. My last and ongoing project is a 1980 Corvette that I heavily modified including swapping out a mechanical linkage clutch and 4 speed manual transmission to a hydraulic clutch with a T56 6 speed manual transmission.

Sounds like some really cool plans you have there. I look forward to seeing your progress along the way! Good Luck!
