Hi,

Is anyone running a Weber with the Anti-Dieseling Solenoid? Originally I did not, but it would occasionally run-on. I tried to adjust the carb the best I could and I think it is pretty close. So, I bought a solenoid for it and tried to install it last night. When I did, the truck would barely run. I hooked it up to the same wire as the choke.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks.

Yeah well, I am not very good with carbs. Surprised that it runs as good as it does.

I am leaving the solenoid off. Weber tech keeps telling me I don't need it and the only reason they sell it is because of EPA regulations. Wish they would say that on their site. Would have saved me $20.00.

if I were having those issues I'd check for sticking throttle linkage. Idle set screw (make sure its not turned in so far as to open your throttle plates. Mixture screw If you are exceeding 1.5 - 2 turns out you need bigger jets (as I did at altitude). And fuel pressure but I assume you have that under raps. pressure shouldn't be jumping around. Hope this gives you a place to start.
