If this thing is on the way out the door. What would the simptoms be? My gauge will go to normal temp and then from there on out it bounces up and down like a yo yo. I checked the system for air bubbles and had nothing. My outher question is where is the sensor located? Thanks for the help a head of time. Kris.

It doesn't sound like you have a bad sensor, it sounds like you have a loose connection, most likely from the plug that goes on the sensor itself, seen it happen before. The sensor is located right above the thermostate housing, it got a black plug with one wire going in it.

Good luck,PULSAR GTRRafi
