Currently have 6.0.1. 6.0.2 is suppose to have wifi fixes but also has some wifi power bugs. Is 6.0.2 suppose to fix the bluetooth?

Yes, many people with the JX had the same issue with the iPhone 5, once they fully updated with the recent iOS update, all was perfect!

Hello all...new to the forum. Do any of you know if the above will work on a 2013 G37? Obviously I want to bypass the in-motion restraints on the DVD and Navi system. Thanks in advance. I'll be ecstatic if so. While I'm at it, anyone know a workaround to play videos from iphone and/or just mirror the iphone on the G37 navi screen??

Updated to 6.0.2 but still wont pass incoming calls to system. :0(
All other aspects work fine. Can even route call to MY-CAR after answering phone via iphone or speaker.

Hey Timmbo,

Would you by any chance have a copy for the FSM for the 2013 Pathy? I'm still trying to figure the AV pin layout and the dealer wants $230 for the FSM.

Thanks.

You sure you were not looking at the wrong plug harness? There are several of them, I would just be really shocked if they were different between the JX and the Pathy, but I guess anything is possible.

Thanks for the quick reply Timmbo. I'm pretty sure I looked at the right plug. I'll look at it again the is weekend just to make sure. I went to the website you suggested and the FSM was not available for the 2013 Pathy.

Timmbo,

My second attempt was successful!!!!

For anyone who wants to do this mod for the 2013 Pathy, its the TOP RIGHT plug if you were looking at the audio unit from the back. The pin layout for the plug is the same as the JX35 (just like Timmbo said). Look for the plug with the 16 pins. There should only be one.

Actually its a 32 pin plug (2 rows of 16 pin). Sorry I couldn't figure out how to upload images.

Will this work and let me view movies on the nav screen if I do not have the theater package on my JX?

Why do you need a DPDT switch? Why not directly connect pin 53 and pin 70 to ground? Thanks

Cut and regular butt connectors for small wire is what I use.

Hey do you have a better diagram on how the wiring should go and what the switch looks like?

Thanks

That diagram works perfect! Very straight forward and easy. I did the mod on my new 2013 Maxima yesterday.

Quick question. Why do we have to install a DPDT switch? its just a question.. i understand you can switch it back to Stock at any moment but from my understanding that's because IF you have a navi install the system feeds of the VSS to keep the right position of the vehicle. In my case i do not have NAVI... i just want to install a DVD player on either my center console box or glove compartment so i can watch movies or Music videos etc thru my Stock display... So if i don't have to install the DPDT switch HOW and CAN i do it.. thank you in advance guys.....
PS: i've been to some places and they all say i have to buy this Video In motion module to connect a DVD which cost almost $400!! can you believe that... that's crazy... i much rather do it my self and not spend all that $$$ on useless equipment..

after my last post i when ahead in took everything off and i have to tell you i was mad confuse lol... i disconnected the screen, the front plate and the Radio/AC panel off.. so what i tried to do was connected it to this plug that is the only 1 with 2 rows of 16pins located on the bottom left on the back of the unit.. i thought it was it bcuz when i turn on the car with the Ebrake on the screen for the video showed and when i disconnected that plug the screen would go back to normal setting... the color don't match!! i tried doing what you wrote and nothing.. looked at this AV manual i found and i could find the damn cable!! i ended up cutting the wrong one and just got frustrated and put everything back....
please help me out here guys..
