Wastegate swap

Would interchanging a T25 wastegate that is set for about 8lbs, with a T28 limit the 28's boost to 8lbs, when it wants to boost up to 14? Is the rod length the same? I'm pretty sure the wastegate itself bolt up to the compressor.

if the mounting bracket, and rod look the same, it should work.

An S14 will only boost to 7/8psi. It can handle 14psi, but you've got to use a boost controller. So if you hook a vac. line straight to the wastegate actuator, you should only get 7/8psi.
