WARNING! Code 14 and Ebay Diagnostic Scan Tool 14Pin HUGE problem

A heads up if you, like me, have bought the "Ebay" Diagnostic Scan Tool 14Pin OBD2 DDL USB Interface Code Reader For Nissan 89-2000.

I did some logging with this dongle the other day and after some driving the HICAS lamp turned on, and I also noticed the power steering was almost gone.
I got error code 14. After doing some research I found that a guy on the 300zx.uk-forum had the same issue, and that it is this dongle that interferes in some way. When removing it, error code 14 did not pop up and no Hicas-warning! I have no idea why, but for sure it is good to know!
