Wanting a ca18det... Give me some info.

Im thinking really hard about getting a ca18det. I mean on ebay i can get a complete setup for like 1100-1200 bucks for my car. I have an 89 coupe 5 speed. I keep reading where guys say the sr20 is such a better engine, but the powerband on the ca18det is better isnt it? What is the redline? I want to run about 13's just enough to run with 5.0's and such, what im getting at is, what would be cheaper in the end? a ca18det to run with 5.0's or a sr20det...

and where did you guys get your ca18's at? any and all info is appreciated guys thanks in advance.
