The only thing I wish I did differently when I got my car was get one with the sport package. I want the spoiler, the foglights, and sleek look of the bumpers, etc.

Here's my question, does anyone know what parts would be involved, is this something that can be done as a DIY project, and what kind of price tag would go along with this?

Thanks.

Does the sport package include totally different bumpers on the front and rear? I thought that they were added mouldings, but I may be wrong? You also might want to keep in mind that if you do put on mouldings/ sport pkg I believe that I read that your ground clearance in snow will be severely impaired!! I also struggle with what to do to make the vehicle look sportier - I have the SL. My plan is to darken the windows and put on a factory-style roof rack, but I do wish that I had the fogs and rear spoiler. Have you spoken to a dealer/ garage about price?

Looks like the bumpers are 2 separate bumpers instead of 'lip' or extension. If I remember correctly the spoiler/sides/bumpers were about an $800 option (can look at my sticker at home if needed). So I would assume after the dealer sells those its probably close to $1,000 for them.

For the body stuff I'm sure it is just the matter of unbolting/unscrewing the bumpers/sides on there now and bolting on the new stuff (after paint of course). Then there is a tutorial about adding the wing on here somewhere.

Not sure on the price of the fog lights. But trying to get them to work completely like OEM could be a pain with the wiring and the changing of the stalk. Aftermarket ones that look like OEM may be the best bet.

The Front, Rear bumpers, side mouldings, foglights and spoiler are different.
