so did everyone pay $12.99 for this? I was going to try this until i saw the price ...

pretty weak that it costs 13 bucks for an estimate ... i'm comfortable just taking bolt-on hp numbers and adding them lol, free estimate ftw

<--this dude did I said wth, why not. I used it once yesterday on the way home from work, and it gave some decent results. I just have to go to a hidden spot with no cops so I can really test it.

I'm still not convinced. I sell phones for Verizon, and am very familiar with the Storm....I had one. And my best friend works for ATT next door and has an Iphone. We havent tried it yet but....

The phones do have accelerometers in them (even though i work for vzw) i think the iphones is more sensitive. But i think its still too slow to really give a very accurate reading. But who knows....just my opinion.

Now if there was an app where you could hok up your phone to your car somehow --thru a car charger type thing or something...and get a reading that way...that would be pretty sweet.

I used the dynolicious last night... with 3205 as the weight, and a 15% drivetrain loss, it estimated 241 peak horsepower...

If you put in a % for drivetrain loss, it tells you the WHP... if you put in 0%, it estimates flywheel horsepower
lol I put the same info as you and my peak hp is 360 hp . Gotta do it again tonight. Btw, why would you guys pay more than $10 just for this app. We're not even sure if it works right
