I have a walbro high flow pump i am going to install , and someting looks odd. The stock fuel pump in my ka24e , is large in diameter, whereas the walbro is skinny but longer. The problem came when I tried to put the Walbro onto the braket with the zip tie , and since it is smaller in diameter it sits at an angle to the top and unseats that rummer peice.I am sure I bought the right fuel pump/kit , but I was just wondering if thia is how it is , or did I get the wrong one sent to me. I will take pictures tommarow.

Yes you have the right pump ( or me and my friend got the wrong pump too). I folded up the little rubber peice and placed it in that gap and then zip tied it, my friend just left the gap, just make sure that keep that bottom rubber piece secure by pushing down hard and tightening the hose clamps on the top. My friend has been driving his car for 3 months without a problem.

I post a pic when i get home later.

I got the pump off of ebay. They guy had 80 of them and was selling them all in the one auction , so I paid 95 shipped. I figured out that i wouldn't zip tie it super tight , so it would sit striaght. slw240sx i haven't seen any of your pics yet, where are they. is the CA in yet?
