VQ35 Powered B13 Project Needs HELP

Hey gang,

Over a year ago I started a build to put a VQ35DE in a B13 Sentra. Recently, I have brought the car home and started working on it again. Here's where I'm looking to the members of NICO to give me a hand. If you are interested in this swap, and want to see it completed, I'd love to have the help.

NO, I am NOT asking for money. NO, DO NOT OFFER ME MONEY!!!!!

What I am asking for:

Spare parts. If you have a B13 and have spare parts laying around that you do not want, I'd be interested in knowing what you have.

If you have spare VQ35DE parts, I'd be interested. This project started when I was making alot more money, and was willing to finance this build completely for self.

Information. If you have tricks or tips to getting the most out of a B13, this is the thread to post it. Any information submitted has to be PROVEN. Meaning, you post it....it works, not speculation. Guess work is not what I'm looking for.

IN RETURN---- I will give all the credit I can to those who help me. By credit I mean vinyl stickers on the vehicle so I can brag about how this forum helped me get this vehicle together. Of course I will credit those in the thread as the build progresses.

I'm sure most of you reading this are thinking, "wow, pathetic, this guy is trying to get his car built for free". I feel pathetic asking. Seriously, but at the same time, I believe I am offering a service to this forum. Regardless if I recieve help or not.....I will be posting my progress on this site. This is the thread:

What I've done so far:

My first VQ swap was into a 1993 240SX. I posted this on this forum. My build of a VQ35 240SX was the first on this forum to be drive by wire on the stock ECM and integrated into the stock 240SX wiring harness. It was basic, crude and not asthetically pleasing, but it worked. My second build was of a high compression VQ35DE into my personal 1989 240SX. In that build, I introduced a new rear brake upgrade that had previously not been explored. Whether any of this helped anyone, I dont know, but I do know that more and more people are considering the VQ swap now (I get emails in my inbox constantly asking for help).

To this Forum: At the moment I am in the middle of installing G20 rear brakes and suspension onto my B13. If this has been done before, I can't seem to find it on the web. If it has, please provide a link. If not, then this thread will show you all how to do it. Also, my VQ swap will offer the B13 crowd another option for performance gains.

I may be making an a** of myself, but regardless, I'd love to have the support of this forum. If not, it will still get finished in time. Thanks to everyone who has read this. I appreciate all the support I have gotten in the past and will be grateful for your support in the future.
