Okay so this morning i changed my plugs to the ngk plats. When i pulling out one of my coil pack to access the plug it broke. The part that connects that cluster thing on top broke right at the base where the long part starts. So it is in 2 pieces now. I just put it back and wrenched it down but i think that i may have to replace it because it kinda stumbles at idle now.Do you guys think i have to replace it?Thanks

Not rare for plug replacement to damage coil or coil to plug extension especially when interval is prolonged beyond 4-5 years.

Considering almost every manufacturer now uses coil on plug design and 105-120K plug change interval{7-10 years driving for average motorist},looks like the part needs to be built stronger if what you say is accurate....

Also, does it matter what order they are in? Or are they all essentially the same part?

"Mr Twister" hope you didn't twist the coil during removal. My point was that roughness can damage the coil unit during plug replacement. Something dealer techs are careful about after causing problems in the beginning.

The coils are designed to last at least until the warranty expires.
